Heading to London on business?
Then consider yourself lucky because it is one of the most exciting and cosmpolitan of vacation destinations. Don’t pass up the chance to spend a few extra days at either end of your conference or business trip to travel to some of the cities only a few hours from London. Even Dublin, my favourite city in the world, is only an hour’s flight from Heathrow and the flights can be purchased quite cheaply while you are in the UK. Perhaps sunny Barcelona, tempts you? Well you’re in luck because Barcelona is a popular UK holiday destination. Even Turkey and Greece could be well within your reach. More locally, a short train trip will have you in Paris or Edinburgh
Many people find themselves in London for business purposes as many global banking, finance and advertising companies are headquartered there. You may find yourself there to attend a conference or exhibition, as London hosts many of these major advertising events every year.
London is truly one of the hubs of the world so take advantage of it while you are there.
