Medical Alarms keep the elderly safe from intruders and falls.

My ageing parents live a considerable distance away from both myself and my siblings. I  worry about their safety and wellbeing. Accidents are a constant worry to me – anything from a fall to a heart attack. A Medical Alarm gives peace of mind and provides the wearer with instant help in the event of an accident. Various service levels are available on two types of Medical Alarms -  a watch style and a pendant style. Some of the functions included are:

A fall alert sensor on the Medical Alarm registers the fall and a call for assistance is sent directly to an ambulance depot.  The intruder alarm arms up to 29 windows and doors with automatic sensing and a call is dispatches directly to police or a specified security services if an intrusion is detected.

The No activity alert senses if the usual pattern of activity is not sensed.  For example, if there is no motion by the wearer’s usual waking time in the morning a call for assistance is dispatched.

A live personal operators can call you to remind you to of important issues, such as taking your medication or they can wait on the line while you take out the trash or some other activity where you would feel better having someone to check in with.  The panic button function accepts calls from cell phones and gives two way conversation with the wearer of the Medical Alarm.

Land lines can also be answered remotely. The GPS locator and safety zone functions on the Medical Alarm form a personal tracking system for general safety if a person is unable to call for help, or those who are prone to wandering and getting lost such as Alzheimer’s sufferers.
The emergency call function gives immediate contact with an operator via the GPS watch to determine the assistance required.
